The International Playwriting Competition welcomes scripts from anyone outside the UK, whether established or new writers. Entrants should write a radio play of approximately fifty three minutes’ length on any subject of their choice.The competition is free to enter.The prize for each of the two winners will consist of £2500 sterling and a trip to London to see the winning play being recorded for broadcast on the BBC World Service.
Artists are invited to submit works in watercolour or water-soluble mediums including watercolour, acrylic, ink or gouache painted on paper or paper based support.Submission fee: £18 per work (or £12 per work for artists aged 35 or under).The exhibition offers several prizes and awards, including the Winsor & Newton Award worth £3,000.
The competition is open to emerging documentary photographers and photojournalists.The 2019 award theme is “Reclaiming the Future”. You may submit 10 to 20 images related to this theme, either in the form of a photo-essay or as a collection of single images.The competition is free to enter.The Grand Prize winner will receive a cash prize.
