The University of Pittsburgh Press announces the Agnes Lynch Starrett Poetry Prize for a first full-length book of poems. The entry fee is $25. The prize carries a cash award of $5,000 and publication by the University of Pittsburgh Press in the Pitt Poetry Series.
All poems entered for the prize must be single poems with a maximum length of 50 lines and be no more than 1,000 words in total. Entry fees: AUD$20 and AUD$25. The winner will receive AUD$15,000. The runner-up (second-placed poem) will receive AUD$5,000.
The Bridport Prize is open to writers of any nationality writing in English, 16 years old and over. There are four categories: Poems, Short stories, Flash fiction and Novel. Entry fees: from £8 to £20. Over £18,000 in prize money.
The prize is for a single unpublished poem written by an adult for children (aged 7–11). The entry fee is €12 per poem. A single prize of €1,000 will be awarded to the best poem.
The Felix Schoeller Photo Award is an international photography competition open to professional and emerging photographers. The entry is free. The total value of the prizes is €35,000.
