Essay topics might include art, history, literature, education, personal narratives, and music as they relate to medicine and should be no longer than 1600 words in length. The winner will receive $3,000. Entry is free.
The competition is open to artists anywhere in the world. You can submit up to 5 different artworks, of any medium from paintings, photography, mixed media, sculpture, etc.

The BP Portrait Award is an annual portrait painting competition held at the National Portrait Gallery in London. Artists must be aged 18 years or over. First Prize: A cash award of £35,000 with a commission valued at £7,000. The entry fee is £40.
