The JIA Illustration Award is an annual contest organised by Japan Illustrators' Association. You may submit a maximum of 5 illustrations. Grand Prix: 300,000 yen.
• First Prize: £1000 cash and a course at Tŷ Newydd, The National Writers’ Centre for Wales • Second Prize: £500 • Third Prize: £250
£10,000 prize for the best short story of up to 2,500 words. £10,000 prize for the best portfolio of three to five poems.
The competition is open to anyone with an interest in photography through the microscope. The subject matter is unrestricted and any type of light microscopy technique is acceptable.
The contest is organised by the Poetry Centre of Oxford Brookes Univeristy. Entrants may enter up to a maximum of ten poems. Entries can be on any subject.
The annual RHS Photographic Competition is open to amateur and professional photographers from all over the world. Entry is free. The overall winner will receive £5,000.
