23rd Da Dun Fine Arts Exhibition

Who may enter
The competition is open to artists from all over the world.

The Da Dun Fine Arts Exhibition is organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of Taichung City, Taiwan.

The Cultural Affairs Bureau of Taichung first promoted the Da Dun Fine Arts Exhibition as a local exhibition in 1996. By April 2002 it had already grown into an internationally recognized annual event and become a globally important art exchange platform. Every year, there are more than 1,500 artists from around the world submitting works in eleven fine arts categories.

There are 11 entry categories including ink wash painting, calligraphy, seal engraving, glue color painting, oil painting, watercolor painting, printmaking, photography, sculpture, crafts and digital art.

Entries for the first review should be submitted between 1st April and 15th April 2018. You should send completed entry form and photos/printouts of your artworks via registered mail

Entry fees
Entry is free.

• First Prize Winners of each category: NT$120,000 
• Second Prize Winners of each category: NT$80,000 
• Third Prize Winners of each category: NT$50,000

• Da Dun Prize
Five Da Dun Prize winners will be selected from among the first-prize winners. Besides a NT$120,000 first-prize award, each Da Dun Prize winner shall also receive an additional award of NT$120,000.
