The Lauren Child Poetry Illustration Prize

Who may enter
The competition is open to illustrators aged 18-25 years.

The competition is organized by St Pancras International in partnership with Waterstones Children’s Laureate, Lauren Child, and London-based gallery, House of Illustration.

To enter the competition, create an illustration for one poem from the Betjeman Poetry Prize. Click here to download and print all poems.

Artists may enter more than once with a separate entry fee for each illustration.

Entry fee
The entry fee is £15.

There is a £1,000 first prize, plus prizes for commended illustrators. The top 12 illustrators will be exhibited at St Pancras International station in September 2018.
