The competition is open to anyone.

Description
The competition is organized by The Royal Photographic Society (RPS). 

This competition is open submission, there are no categories and all genres of photography are eligible.

Welcoming entries from all genres, including Documentary, Landscape, Editorial, Photojournalism, Wildlife, Contemporary, Portraiture, Abstract, Fashion, Street, and many more, by photographers worldwide, at all levels of practice.

Photographers may enter up to 6 images online to the competition website.

2017 Winners:
Gold Award: Margaret Mitchell (UK)
Silver Award: R. J. Kern (US)
Bronze Award: Wes Bell (Canada)
Under 30s Gold Award: Owen Harvey (UK)

Entry fees
Entry for 6 images:
RPS Member – £22 per person
Non-Member – £32 per person
Entry for Under 30s (entrants must be under 30 years on 4 April 2018) – £18 per person 

Prizes
Gold Award: £1,500, RPS Gold Medal, a year's free membership to the RPS
Silver Award: £750, RPS Silver Medal, a year's free membership to the RPS
Bronze Award: £500, RPS Bronze Medal, a year's free membership to the RPS
Under 30s Award: £1,500, RPS Gold Medal, a year's free membership to the RPS
