The AWP Award Series is open to all authors writing original works in English for adult readers. There are four prizes: for Poetry, Short Fiction, Creative Nonfiction and Novel. The entry fee is $30. The total value of prizes is $16,000.
The competition is open to anyone in the world who is writing in English. Entries must be a single story of 2,000 to 5,000 words. Entry fees: from AU$15 to AU$25. The Jolley Prize is worth a total of $12,500.

$2,000 will be awarded for the best short story. There are no theme restrictions, but stories must be at least 10 pages but no more than 50 pages. Entry fee is $15 per story.
The prize is for a single unpublished poem written by an adult for children (aged 7–11). The entry fee is €12 per poem. A single prize of €1,000 will be awarded to the best poem.
All poems entered for the prize must be single poems with a maximum length of 50 lines and be no more than 1,000 words in total. Entry fees: AUD$20 and AUD$25. The winner will receive AUD$15,000. The runner-up (second-placed poem) will receive AUD$5,000.
