The work entered must be created in pencil (including water-soluble, pastel, graphite, charcoal or coloured pencils). First Prize: £6,000. The entry fee is £15 for the first work.
The competition is open to original, unpublished poems in the English language of 40 lines or less. Entry fee: €5 per poem. 1st Prize: €1000 and a week's residency at the Tyrone Guthrie Centre.
Each entrant may submit one photo that represents one hour of the day, up to a total of twenty-four (24) photos (each representing a different hour of the day). Entry is free
There are two categories:• The Judge’s Prize – poems of 11 to 50 lines. • The Editors’ Prize – poems of up to 10 lines. First prize for the Judge’s and Editors’ Prize is £1000.
The competition is open to illustrators over the age of 18. The book to be illustrated for The Book Illustration Competition 2018 is The Selected Adventures and and Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes.
The María Luisa Memorial is an annual mountain, nature and adventure photo contest. The overall winner will receive €3,000.
The theme of this year's competition is "Enough". You may submit only one comic story (maximum 4 pages; format A4 or A3). Entry is free. The winners will receive cash prizes totalling CHF 5,000.
You may submit one manuscript (no less than approximately 60,000 words) written in the English language. Murder or another serious crime or crimes must be at the heart of the story.
