The theme for the 2018 ZEISS Photography Award is “Seeing Beyond – Untold Stories”. You may enter a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10 images. The competition is free to enter.
The competition is open to artists anywhere in the world. You can submit up to 5 different artworks, of any medium from paintings, photography, mixed media, sculpture, etc.
The work entered must be created in pencil (including water-soluble, pastel, graphite, charcoal or coloured pencils). First Prize: £6,000. The entry fee is £15 for the first work.
There are two categories:• The Judge’s Prize – poems of 11 to 50 lines. • The Editors’ Prize – poems of up to 10 lines. First prize for the Judge’s and Editors’ Prize is £1000.
The competition is open to illustrators over the age of 18. The book to be illustrated for The Book Illustration Competition 2018 is The Selected Adventures and and Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes.
The theme of this year's competition is "Enough". You may submit only one comic story (maximum 4 pages; format A4 or A3). Entry is free. The winners will receive cash prizes totalling CHF 5,000.
You may submit one manuscript (no less than approximately 60,000 words) written in the English language. Murder or another serious crime or crimes must be at the heart of the story.
The contest is sponsored by Winning Writers. You may submit one humor poem, up to 250 lines. Entry is free. The winner will receive $1,000.
The competition is open to everyone who practices nature photography as a hobby or on a professional basis. The overall winner will receive € 2,500. The entry fee is € 20 per participant.
