The contest is organised by the Poetry Centre of Oxford Brookes University.There are two categories:• Open category (open to all poets aged 18 years and over);• English as an Additional Language (EAL) category (open to all poets aged 18 and over who write in English as an Additional Language).The first three poems submitted cost £5 per poem.The winners of each category will receive £1000.
The Prize will be awarded to an unpublished piece of writing – prose fiction, non-fiction or poetry – which best combines exceptional literary merit with an exploration of the writer’s relationship with the natural world.The entry fee is €15 per entry.The winner will receive €1,000 and a week-long stay at The Moth Retreat in rural Ireland.
The competition is open to people from age 13 and up, both amateur and professional photographers.The theme of the contest is: ''A World of Light: The Vital Role That Light and Light-Based Technologies Play in Daily Life.''The competition is free to enter.Prizes:• 1st Place: US $2,500• 2nd Place: US $1,000• 3rd Place: US $500• Technology and Science category: US $750
The New East Photo Prize is open to nationals of Eastern Europe, the Balkans, Russia and Central Asia. Entrants must be 18 years of age.You can submit a photography project made within the last two years in the New East countries.The competition is free to enter.The winner of the New East Photo Prize will receive a cash prize of £1,000.
