The competition is open to anyone.There are six categories:• Free Choice – colour series (1st prize: 6,000 €)• Free Choice – monochromatic series (1st prize: 6,000 €)• Motherhood and childhood (1st prize: 2,000 €)• Nature (1st prize: 2,000 €)• Smiles (1st prize: 2,000 €)• Travelling (1st prize: 2,000 €)Entry fee: 30 € per entry.
Any animation completed on, or after, January 1, 2019 can be submitted to the competition (regardless of country of origin, and whether it is professional, amateur or student work).There are no entry fees.• Grand Prize (both for Feature Animation and Short Animation): 500,000 yen• Award of Excellence (both for Feature and Short): 100,000 yen
The Commonwealth Short Story Prize is an annual award for unpublished short fiction. There are no restrictions on setting, genre or theme.Entrants must be citizens of a Commonwealth country.The overall winner receives £5,000. There will be five winners, one from each region (Africa, Asia, Canada and Europe, Caribbean, Pacific). Regional winners each receive £2,500.The competition is free to enter.
