Entrants must be 13 years old or older.

Short description

The contest is organized by the American Meteorological Society.

“ We're seeking photos of weather, water, and climate from the subtle to the extreme; think clouds, waves, storms, and other atmospheric, oceanic, or hydrologic conditions. 

Images should be in a horizontal (“landscape”) format.

A maximum of two photos can be submitted per person.

The competition is free to enter.

• 1st Prize: $500
• 2nd Prize: $300
• 3rd Prize: $200
• Members choice: $500

• Complimentary AMS Weather Band membership to all winners
