The competition is open to anyone aged 18 years or older.

Short description

The competition is part of the Ledbury Poetry Festival that takes place each July in Ledbury, England.

The competition is for original, unpublished poems up to 40 lines. 

This year’s judge is Philip Gross.

All applications must be submitted online through the entry form on this page.

Entry fee
Each entry costs £6.

Prizes
• First Prize: £1000 cash and a weeks poetry course with Arvon
• Second Prize: £500
• Third Prize: £250
