The competition is open to anyone aged 18 or over.

The Young Photographer category is open to anyone aged 17 and under.

Short description

The competition is organized by The Rugby Journal.

Rugby Photographer of the Year with Canterbury is a competition that celebrates the very best of rugby photography, both amateur and professional from across the globe, culminating in an exhibition at the World Rugby Museum at Twickenham.

The competition has the following categories: Portrait, Landscape, Action, Spirit of Rugby, Rugby Portfolio, Young Photographer.

All submissions must have been taken between 1st April 2022 and July 16th 2023.


Entry fees
The competition is free to enter.

Prizes
The overall winner will receive a cash prize of £1,000.

All shortlisted entries will have their work featured in an exhibition at the World Rugby Museum
