Wildlife Artist of the Year 2020

Who may enter
The competition is open to amateur and professional artists aged 17 and over.

The Wildlife Artist of the Year is an annual wildlife art competition. It is organized by the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation.

The judges will accept all traditional artistic mediums, excluding digital and photography.

Entries must correspond to one of the eight categories:

• Animal Behaviour 
• Earth’s Wild Beauty
• Facing Extinction (previously Vanishing Fast) 
• Human Impact (ages 16-22 only)
• Into the Blue 
• Urban Wildlife 
• Wings 
• Endangered: Wildlife in Motion

Entry fees 
Entry to the ‘Human Impact’ category for young people is £10 per entry. For all other categories, entries are £25 per entry or £10 (per entry) for Wildlife Shepherds

• First prize: £10,000
• Second prize: £1,000
• 8 category winners receiving £500 each
