Who may enter
The competition is open to designers from all over the world. Entrants must be 18 years or over.

Short descrtiption
The World of WearableArt Awards is an annual international wearable art competition.

″ World of WearableArt (WOW) is an internationally renowned design competition that attracts entries from over 40 countries. Anything that is wearable art can find a place on the stage, as long as it is original, innovative and well executed.

For three weeks every year, WOW showcases the best of these creations in a spectacular show that takes over New Zealand’s vibrant capital city of Wellington in an explosion of creativity. This year around 60,000 people will see the show. 

There are six section themes: 

• Aotearoa
• Avant-Garde
• Open
• Gold
• Bizarre Bra
• Mars & Beyond

To enter the World of WearableArt Awards Competition you need to create a complete garment. Drawings and sketches will not be accepted.  You must include at least four full length photographs of your actual completed garment as part of your entry submission.

Entry fees
The competition is free to enter.
