Who may enter
The competition is open to all professional and amateur photographers of any nationality.

The competition is organised by Tracy Calder and Daniel Calder.

All images entered in the competition must be close-up, macro or taken with a microscope. 

Close-up Photographer of the Year (CUPOTY) is a celebration of close-up, macro photography and photomicrography – an annual competition created to showcase images that help us see the world anew.

There are seven categories:
· Insects
· Animals
· Plants & Fungi
· Intimate Landscape
· Manmade World
· Micro
· Young

Images should be sent through WeTransfer page.

This year's judges are: Ross Hoddinott, Sue Bishop, David Maitland, Robert Thompson, Keith Wilson, Matt Doogue, Tracy Calder.

15 pictures (across all six categories): £30
30 pictures (across all six categories): £40
15 Pictures (Young CUPOTY): £5
