Who may enter
Entries may be submitted from anywhere in the world. All Entrants shall be of the age of majority in their legal jurisdiction of residency at the time of entry submission. 

The Montreal International Poetry Prize is a biennial poetry competition awarding $20,000 for one poem. 

Each entry must be an original, unpublished poem of 40 lines or fewer.

Entries may be on any topic.

Entries must be written in English.

Entry fees (fees are in Canadian dollars)
$20 to 1 May
$25 from 2 May to 1 June
$17 for every  additional entry

The winner will receive $20,000 CDN (approx. 15.000 USD).

The jury will choose approximately fifty poems for publication in the Montreal Prize anthology.
